Freeze Warning
Statement as of 9:51 AM CDT on March 28, 2015

... Freeze warning remains in effect from 11 PM this evening to
9 am CDT Sunday...

* timing and areas affected... north Alabama and portions of southern
middle Tennessee late tonight through Sunday morning.

* Temperatures... between 27 and 32 degrees for 4 to 6 hours late
tonight and early Sunday morning.

* Impacts... any living vegetation and crops that are susceptible to
freezing temperatures may be damaged or killed. In addition to the
long duration of below freezing temperatures... mostly clear skies
and calm winds tonight should combine to create widespread frost
across the area.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.
