An area of rain will advance across southeast Mississippi and into southwest Alabama this evening. Rain expected to be along Interstate 65 around 9 PM. Total rainfall amounts are expected to be less than an inch...but enough in places to cause some ponding of water on low spots. Winds will become west to northwest at 10 to 15 mph behind the cold front that was driving the rain eastward...and westerly 15 to 20 knots over the bays and coastal waters.
