Statement as of 10:24 AM CST on November 16, 2009
... Flood Warning extended until late Thursday night... the Flood Warning continues for the Alabama River near Claiborne dam * until late Thursday night * at 7am Monday the stage was 47.1 feet * minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast * flood stage is 42.0 feet * the river will continue rising to near 47.3 feet by this afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage Thursday evening.
