Statement as of 9:00 PM CST on November 10, 2009 The National Weather Service in Birmingham al has issued a * Flood Warning for the Tallapoosa river at Wadley. * Until Wednesday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 8:00 PM Tuesday the stage was 13.4 feet. * Flood stage is 13.0 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by early Wednesday morning. * Impact... at 13.0 feet... flooding of pasturelands in the area occurs and cattle should be moved to higher ground

Statement as of 6:02 PM CST on November 10, 2009 ... Lake Wind Advisory in effect until 3 PM CST Wednesday... ... Wind Advisory is cancelled... The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a lake Wind Advisory... which is in effect until 3 PM CST Wednesday. This will replace the Wind Advisory... which has been cancelled. North to northeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts 25 to 35 mph will be possible. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing. 08
