The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Tornado Watch for portions of
southern and central Alabama
the western Florida Panhandle
coastal waters

* effective this Saturday morning from 500 am until noon CDT.

* Primary threats include...
a couple tornadoes possible
scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2
    inches in diameter possible
isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

Summary... widely scattered thunderstorms... including possible
supercells with a risk for a couple tornadoes in addition to large
hail and locally damaging wind... expected to move / develop east
across southern al and the wrn FL Panhandle through mid-morning.
Farther N... other potentially severe storms expected to persist
along trailing /SW/ part of east-moving squall line in central al.

The Tornado Watch area is approximately along and 80 statute
miles east and west of a line from 35 miles south southeast of
Pensacola Florida to 25 miles north northeast of Montgomery
