Statement as of 10:30 AM CST on November 15, 2009 ... Flood Warning extended until late tonight... the Flood Warning continues for the Tombigbee river near LeRoy until late tonight * at 07am Sunday the stage was 24.8 feet * minor flooding is occurring is forecast to conitnue through this afternoon * flood stage is 24.0 feet * the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by this evening. At 24.0 feet, flooding of low lying farm and pasturelands in the area will occur. Cattle in low lying areas may need to be moved to higher ground. 1030 am CST sun Nov 15 2009 ... Flood Warning extended until this evening... the Flood Warning continues for the Tombigbee river near Coffeeville dam until this evening * at 09am Sunday the stage was 29.8 feet * minor flooding is occurring is forecast to continue into this evening * flood stage is 29.0 feet * the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by late this afternoon. At 29.0 feet, pastureland in the area will become flooded and livestock need to be moved to higher ground.
