At 230 am...scattered showers and thunderstorms were moving east across parts of interior southeast Mississippi as well as portions of southwest Alabama...generally along and north of Highway 84. Showers and storms will continue to affect the region through 5 am this morning. Strongest storms will initially be over parts of Butler and Crenshaw counties...with some showers and storms also affecting parts of Clarke... Monroe and Wilcox counties. Additional storms... some strong...will be possible through 5 am. Dangerous cloud to ground lightning...gusty winds up to 25 or 30 mph and brief heavy rainfall will be possible with any of the storms. Movement of the activity will continue to be toward the east at around 20 mph.
