... Gate operations have begun at Martin dam... Alabama power company advises that gate operations have begun at Martin dam due to heavy rainfall that has occurred over the Tallapoosa river Basin. Two gates were opened at 814 am satuday morning and are expected to remain open through the weekend. Conditions will continue to be monitored closely. Ksl
