The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of southeast Alabama... Florida
and Georgia... including the following areas... in southeast
Alabama... Coffee... Dale... Geneva... Henry and Houston. In
Florida... Bay... Franklin... Gulf... Wakulla... Walton...
Calhoun... Gadsden... Holmes... Jackson... Leon... Liberty and
Washington. In Georgia... Baker... Ben Hill... Calhoun... Clay...
Colquitt... Decatur... Dougherty... early... Grady... Irwin...
Lee... Miller... Mitchell... Quitman... Randolph... Seminole...
Terrell... Thomas... Tift... Turner and Worth.

* From late tonight through Sunday evening

* showers and thunderstorms will cross the area from west to east
late tonight through tomorrow. Heavy rainfall will be possible
with these storms. Widespread rainfall totals of 1-2" are
expected... but isolated areas may see totals of 3-6" with these
storms... which could lead to flash flooding.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
