... Record daily snowfall tied at Valdez... The daily snowfall total at the Valdez Weather Service office recorded 11 inches on Veterans Day... this ties the previous record set back in 1973. Also to note... the total 2 day snowfall from Wednesday to Thursday was 15.9 inches which is the highest 2 day total on record... in 1974 the November 11 and 12 amount was 15.7 inches.
