A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am akst Thursday.
A mix of snow and freezing rain will continue tonight. The precipitation will likely fall heavily at times after midnight. As colder air sweeps back into the area the precipitation will change to all snow early Wednesday morning. The snow will continue into early Thursday morning... and will combine with strong winds to produce blizzard conditions at times. Storm total snow accumulation of 6 inches is expected by early Thursday. The visibility will be less than one quarter mile at times.

A coastal Flood Warning remains in effect from midnight tonight to 6 PM akst Thursday.
Coastal flooding is expected to develop late tonight and continue through Thursday. Tides of 6 to 8 feet above normal are expected. Coastal flooding is expected in all low lying areas.
The high water and high seas could push sea ice on shore. Wave driven sea ice can cause great damage to structures. Anything that can be moved away from the coast should be moved now. Heavy snow and blizzard conditions will accompany this storm tonight through Wednesday night so preparations should be made now.
