Along the western CAPES and alasla peninsula wind gusting to 45 mph and at the channeled terrain. Numerous snow showers this morning with snow accumulation of up to an inch. Areas of patchy fog along the coast.

Snow likely in the evening...then a chance of snow after midnight. Snow accumulation up to 1 inch. Lows 10 to 15 above except in the 20s along the western CAPES and Alaska Peninsula. West wind 10 to 20 mph.

Mostly cloudy. A chance of snow in the morning...then scattered snow showers in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 20s except in the lower 30s along the western CAPES and Alaska Peninsula. Northeast wind 10 to 20 mph.

... Winter storm brought windy and snowy conditions to southcentral Alaska yesterday...
A strong weather front moved through southcentral Alaska yesterday bringing snow and wind to the region. Peak winds from this event were measured at Glen Alps with a gust of 82 mph while McHugh Creek... along Turnagain Arm... reported a peak gust of 81 mph. Most of Anchorage experienced winds 20 to 30 mph while ted Stevens international Airport had the strongest gust in town at 47 mph at about 1 PM.
