... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from noon Saturday to noon
akst Sunday...

The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... blowing snow and... winds which is in
effect from noon Saturday to noon akst Sunday.

* Blowing snow... reducing visibility to one half mile or less.

* Snow... up to 4 inches.

* Winds... west at 15 to 25 mph gusting around 40 mph... strongest
on summits.

* Timing... winds will increase through the afternoon Saturday and
conditions will deteriorate in the evening... then slowly improve
overnight through Sunday morning.

* Impacts... visibility will be greatly reduced and snow will
accumulate into drifts. Whiteout conditions may occur. Travel
and outdoor activities will be difficult.
