... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from midnight tonight to
midnight akst Saturday night...

The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow... which is in effect
from midnight tonight to midnight akst Saturday night.

* Snow... 4 to 8 inches... heaviest over higher terrain south of the
Yukon river.

* Blowing snow... reducing visibility to one half mile or less at
times over summits.

* Timing... snow and wind will increase late this evening and
continue through midnight Saturday night.

* Impacts... visibility may be greatly reduced. Travel and outdoor
activities will be difficult.
