... Snowfall amounts in the Anchorage area... The first measurable snow of the season for the Anchorage NWS forecast office occurred overnight. The snow started around 6 PM on the 8th and ended around 4 am on the 9th. The following is a report of snow amounts across the area... Anchorage area... 1. Hillside near omalley trailhead 5.5" 2.
