    the Tanana river below the mouth of the Salcha river...

    The Flood Watch continues for

    * the Salcha area

    * through Friday morning

    * ice continues to run in the Tanana river... so an ice jam could
    reform.

    * Flooding in the Salcha area is possible if an ice jam reforms

    A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
    current forecasts.

    You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
    flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
    prepared to take action should flooding develop.
