...Fairbanks Summer rainfall record broken...

A line of rain showers that moved through the Fairbanks area early this afternoon dropped 0.05 inches of rain which pushed our Summer season rain fall total to 11.63 inches. This breaks the previous record set from June through August of 11.59 inches set in 1930.
