	Winter Storm Warning
Statement as of 7:15 PM AKST on November 10, 2009 ... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am akst Thursday... A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am akst Thursday. Heavy snow... strong winds and blizzard conditions will continue through early Thursday. Periods of freezing rain are possible late tonight as well. Storm total snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches is expected by early Thursday. Visibility will be less than one quarter mile at times. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Storm Warning means significant winter weather hazards are expected. This will make travel and outdoor activity very hazardous.

	Coastal Flood Warning
Statement as of 3:13 PM AKST on November 10, 2009 ... Coastal Flood Warning in effect from 6 am Wednesday to 6 PM akst Thursday... The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a coastal Flood Warning... which is in effect from 6 am Wednesday to 6 PM akst Thursday. The coastal Flood Watch is no longer in effect. Minor coastal flooding is expected to develop Wednesday and continue through Thursday. Tides of 6 feet above normal are expected at Nome... and up to 8 feet above normal at Golovin. The highest water levels are expected Wednesday afternoon. Coastal flooding is expected in low lying unprotected areas. Low lying areas on the Nome to Council Road will be flooded. The high water and high seas could push sea ice on shore. Wave driven sea ice can cause great damage to structures. Anything that can be moved away from the coast should be moved now. Heavy snow and blizzard conditions will accompany this storm tonight through Wednesday night so preparations should be made now. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A coastal Flood Warning means that rising sea water that causes flooding is expected. Coastal residents in the warned area should be alert for rising water... and take actions to protect life and property.
