... Glacier dammed lake on the snow river which flows into Kenai
Lake is releasing...

The Glacier dammed lake on the snow river which flows into Kenai
Lake is releasing at this time. Water levels on the snow river
are steadily rising and are reflective of previous outburst
events. A water level increase on Kenai Lake is expected.

The snow river will likely rise to a stage of 13 or 13.5 feet... causing
Kenai Lake to rise 1 to 2 feet. Smaller rises are expected on the
Kenai River the end of this week. No flooding is expected at this
time.

Uncertainty exists during each Glacier Dam Lake release event in terms of
initial Glacier Dam Lake volume and the rate in which the lake drains.
Forecast estimates of peak stage and timing will be updated on the
Alaska-Pacific river forecast center website:
http://aprfc.Arh.NOAA.Gov.
