Secondary swell...............east at around 2 feet. 
Secondary period..............9 seconds. 

Rip current risk.....High. Pounding surf will produce dangerous rip 
                     currents at reefs and beaches. Stay out of the 
                     water.

Maximum afternoon heat index...........around 96. 

.Outlook...Surf could briefly fall below hazardous levels Thursday 
night but a secondary long-period northeast swell will increase
Friday maintaining hazardous surf along north facing reefs
