Rip current risk today:
a small lingering long period swell will bring a low to moderate 
risk of rip currents at area beaches today. Stronger east-northeast 
winds along the Volusia County coast will also produce a more choppy 
surf zone. Southerly winds along the remainder of the coast will 
contribute to a northward flowing longshore current. Heed the advice 
of ocean Rescue personnel and only enter the surf near a lifeguard.

Outlook for...Tuesday...partly cloudy. A slight chance of afternoon 
showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the mid 80s. Southwest winds 
around 5 mph becoming east in the afternoon. Chance of rain 20 
percent.
