Discussion...
slightly cooler temperatures and noticeably drier air has pushed through
western Arkansas and much of eastern OK this morning. Additionally
ongoing elevated convection and associated cloud cover will
further act to reduce afternoon temperatures. Morning convection has
remained persistent though recently has shown a downward
trend. Afternoon precipitation coverage is expected to trend toward more
isolated in nature. Updated forecasts have accounted for ongoing
convection with temperatures largely on track.
