Short term...tonight through Sunday.

High pressure will produce dry weather throughout the short term.
Will continue to see temperatures warm with record highs possible
throughout the weekend. Many locations will see highs in the 55 to
60 degree range.


Long term...Sunday night through Thursday.
Expect continued very warm and dry weather Monday and Tuesday with
high temperatures continuing well above seasonal normal for early
March. Some Pacific moisture begins to infiltrate eastern Idaho by
middle week and kept the showers in grids Wednesday and Thursday in
place. Snow levels will be elevated...likely above 6 thousand feet.


Aviation...ideal aviation conditions will persist through the
period as the region will be dominated by a strengthening ridge of
high pressure over northern California. As a result...VFR conditions will be
the rule along with winds generally 10 knots or less. Ad
