Synopsis...
warmer temperatures will close the week...but rain chances will
return with a Sunday cold front.

&&

Near term /through today/...
subsidence undr shortwave ridging aloft will continue the destruction of a
stratocu layer over the region through the night. With clearing toward
morning...have persisted with a low temperature forecast near or just undr the
freezing mark. Warm advection and insolation will drive Friday highs
about 10 degrees above the avgs.

&&

Short term /tonight through Sunday/...
warm advection in advance of trough crossing the Great Lakes will maintain
mild temperatures on Saturday...but rain chances will increases into Sunday as
that system cold front sweeps toward the upper Ohio region.

Subsequent cold advection is not prognosticated to be decisive as upstream
shortwave maintains genl zonal flow and precipitation chances through Sunday
night...which is not expected to be significant given current
forecasts of a progressing open wave.

&&

Long term /Sunday night through Thursday/...
the majority of the upcoming week will be dry with seasonal
temperatures with zonal flow over the eastern Continental U.S..

&&

Aviation /06z Friday through Tuesday/...
taf sites will improve from MVFR to VFR overnight as drier air
continues to move in from the west...with all sites VFR shortly
after daybreak.

Outlook.../Friday night through Tuesday/...
another frontal system will generate the next chance for genl
restrictions by Sunday.
