Short term...tonight through Friday night

After the deluge of rainfall the past few days...rain has moved
southeast of the area. Clouds are slowly eroding...but many
locations remain mostly cloudy. However...another shortwave will
move across Missouri tonight...with clouds increasing across the
north. With the clouds remaining...increased low temperatures a few degrees

Clouds will clear for Wednesday...with sunshine returning area wide.
Northwest flow will keep temperatures cool Wednesday and
Wednesday night. A warming trend will begin Thursday as flow
becomes zonal...and continue through the end of the short term.

Long term...Saturday through Tuesday

Not much happening in the extended period...with a fairly progressive
pattern and no major storm systems. There will be a system late
Sunday/Monday...but moisture appears limited. Given this...have
small chances for showers in the forecast. looks
mostly dry. Temperatures will be a little above normal.
